Terms of use
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Snapera (“we”, “us”) for the Snapera app and this website. By using Snapera you accept them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. Questions: [email protected].
1. Who can use Snapera
You must be at least 13, and at least 16 in the EEA and UK unless a parent agrees. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms.
2. What Snapera does
Snapera uses artificial intelligence to create new photos from a selfie in styles you choose. Results are generated by AI: they can differ from what you expect, may contain mistakes and are not a true record of reality. We check that results look like you and offer a free redo when they don’t, but we can’t promise every result will match your expectations.
3. Free photos and subscriptions
- New users get 2 free photos. Free photos carry a small watermark.
- Snapera Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, weekly or yearly. The price and period are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Pro includes up to 30 photos a day. We may set fair-use limits to protect the service from abuse.
- If we change the price, we will tell you in advance. Active subscriptions keep their price unless Apple or Google rules require otherwise, and you can always cancel before a new price applies.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
4. Your photos
You keep all rights to the selfies you upload. You give us a limited permission to store and process them only to create your photos, check the result and deliver it to you, for up to 24 hours as described in our privacy policy. We don’t use your selfies or photos to train AI.
Photos created for you are yours to use, including posting them on social media, subject to the law and to section 5. Because the result is AI-generated, others may create similar images, and some countries may not grant copyright in AI-generated content.
5. Rules for using Snapera
You may upload only photos of yourself, or of an adult who has agreed to it. You must not use Snapera to:
- upload photos of children;
- create sexual or nude content, or content that is violent, hateful or harassing;
- impersonate someone, or create images of a real person to deceive, defame or embarrass them;
- present AI-generated photos as real evidence of events, or use them for fraud, identity checks or official documents;
- break the law or anyone else’s rights, including privacy and image rights;
- copy, reverse-engineer, overload or get around the limits of the app or our server.
We may refuse a request, block content or suspend access if these rules are broken.
6. Sharing to other apps
Snapera can open TikTok, Instagram and other apps so you can post your photo. Nothing is posted unless you do it. Those apps have their own terms, and you are responsible for what you post.
7. Our app
Snapera, its design, styles and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the store’s rules. We may change, add or remove styles and features.
8. Ending use
You can stop using Snapera and delete all your data at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop the service. If we stop the service while you have an active paid subscription, we will tell you in advance and you can ask the store for a refund under its policies.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Snapera is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t give warranties that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free or that results will meet your needs, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Snapera in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or anything else that can’t be limited by law.
10. Apple App Store
If you use Snapera on an Apple device, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo or on a U.S. government list of prohibited parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Snapera after the changes take effect, the new terms apply.
